About The Position

Build and sustain a suite of mission applications using Python, messaging, and modern container platforms. Develop, sustain, and troubleshoot mission software that integrates with commercial, government, and open-source products. The role is on-site in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Applicants must live within commuting distance; regular on-site attendance is required, though limited telework may be possible for some roles.

Requirements

• Five years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Currently hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Live within commuting distance of the listed work location.
• Experience with Linux command-line tools.
• Bash scripting skills.
• Recent Python 3 development experience.
• Experience with RabbitMQ or similar messaging frameworks.
• Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker, containerd, and Kubernetes.
• Helm chart development experience.
• Experience with GitLab CI and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Elastic Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Experience with Git.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with PostgreSQL or other SQL databases.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Ansible experience.
• Rust experience or willingness to learn Rust.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and troubleshoot Python applications.
• Integrate software with COTS, GOTS, and open-source products.
• Deploy containerized services to Kubernetes using Helm.
• Work with MongoDB and RabbitMQ.
• Support logging and monitoring with Elastic Stack, Prometheus, and Grafana.
