As a Senior Software Engineer within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH. This position may not be available in all geographic areas. Job Description Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms. Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Writes code, tests and deploys software. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software. Hands on development and support experience with Informatica, Oracle database and Microsoft SQL Server.
Demonstrated experience performing highly complex software development activities strong analytical and problems solving skills .
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Must have the ability to interact with all levels of management and teams.
Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and ability to work under pressure with strict timelines.
Self-Starter, Highly Motivated, Passionate, enthusiastic, and “CAN-DO” attitude
University / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced ETL development activities using Informatica, PL/SQL, Oracle Database tuning, SQL tuning, Informatica Server administration.
Design, implement, test and maintain ETL components for multiple applications.
Lead and mentor a team of developers and interact closely with the lines of Business and project teams.
Production system problem resolution and support.
Writes code, tests and deploys software.
Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
Maintains and debugs software.
