About The Position

We are hiring a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with Oracle DBA expertise to join our client's Data Center Engineering team. This role focuses on ensuring uptime, scalability, and resilience of mission‑critical Oracle database infrastructure.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of Oracle DBA experience in production & development servers.
• Strong expertise in backup, recovery, DR, and migrations.
• Hands‑on with GoldenGate and RMAN.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting/automation.
• Proven troubleshooting skills in mission‑critical environments.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to PostgreSQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle DB environments (9i, 10g, 11g, 12c, 19c) – installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance.
• Design & implement Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies and backup/recovery solutions (RMAN, CommVault, NetApps).
• Manage standalone & clustered environments, migrations, and performance tuning.
• Work with GoldenGate replication for high availability.
• Automate DBA tasks with Shell/Perl scripting.
• Mentor junior DBAs and recommend improvements for performance & capacity.
