Salesforce Senior Systems Engineer Responsible for design, development, implementation, and support of advanced technical solutions, including platform systems that require critical aspects of infrastructure, network, application, database, and security frameworks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of progressive work experience in developing web applications, or in comparable application infrastructure programming environment.
  • Experience with Object Oriented Programming Languages: Java experience required
  • Experience with the Lightning Framework and the creation of Lightning Web Components
  • Experience with Relational Database design and development using MS SQL Server.
  • Experience developing Integration Web Services with RESTful and SOAP protocols.
  • Experience with APIs, Integration principles (ideally including Epic).

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce Developer Certifications Preferred: Platform Developer 1, Platform Developer 2, Javascript Certified Developer
  • Salesforce Administrator Certifications Preferred: Administrator 201, Administrator 301 preferred.
  • Experience with .NET Core, C#, React, MVC, HTML/JavaScript/Ajax, and XML preferred.
  • Experience with responsive UI design utilizing frameworks like Bootstrap preferred.
  • Proficiency with developing reports is desired.
  • Experience with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Team Foundation Server, Azure Dev Ops, and SharePoint is desired.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum or CMMI software development methodologies is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise platforms and services.
  • Define and implement advanced automation and orchestration solutions.
  • Works with project team of users and analysts to develop technical requests ensuring design will integrate with current systems.
  • Develops project technical work plan and enforces adherence.
  • Collaborates with other Digital staff (Operations, Network Services, etc.) to provide inter-disciplinary technical solutions.
  • Assists developers and analysts in coding, testing, implementing, and maintaining systems.
  • Writes and organizes internal documentation for new and existing applications.
  • Maintains integrity of applications by routinely running data checks and analyzing errors and imbalances.
  • Works to identify causes and prevent further occurrences.
  • Works with vendors and application teams, and other Systems Programming staff to develop core infrastructure technologies and frameworks, using best practices, that are highly scalable, stable, and performant.
  • Mentors others in Systems Programming in the design, implementation, use, and support of said applications and core utilities both individually and in team-based mechanisms such as code review and team design sessions.
  • Participates in team’s on call rotation to triage and resolve incoming issues as necessary. On call rotation requires 24x7 availability for one week and potentially similar availability during the backup on call week.
