Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field or foreign equivalent.
  • 7 years of experience working as a Java developer.
  • 6 years of experience in Java Enterprise software development.
  • 5 years of experience in Java and JVM memory and performance tuning. Mastery with Lambdas, Generics, and other data structures such as Map, List, Set.
  • 5 years of experience in Spring Framework or equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience in commonly used Design Patterns and advanced algorithm design for high-throughput systems.
  • 4 years of experience in concurrent programming (e.g., Actor Model, Java CompletableFuture, thread pool Executors) for real-time transaction systems.
  • 4 years of experience in Hibernate or equivalent JPA frameworks, optimizing query performance.
  • 4 years of experience with relational databases, i.e., MySQL, Oracle, DB2, or MS SQL, and NoSQL databases, i.e. Cassandra or MongoDB.
  • 2 years of experience ensuring compliance in software development.
  • 3 years of experience leading cross-functional teams or mentoring engineers in a fintech environment.

Responsibilities

  • Code, test, analyze and review code for accuracy, functionality, performance, and security.
  • Drive the Software Development Life Cycle, defining sprint goals, ensuring operational stability, and leading product launches.
  • Provide Technical Leadership and mentoring other engineers with technical competence.
  • Communicate strategic technical plans and solutions to stakeholders, including executives, cross-functional teams, and clients.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other teams to align technical solutions with business and regulatory objectives.
  • Document architectural designs, create developer guides, and ensure knowledge transfer through comprehensive documentation.
