About The Position
Concept Solutions, LLC (CS) is seeking a Software Engineer - React to support a mission-critical application modernization program for a Department of War (DoW) customer. This initiative focuses on creating a unified experience across multiple production applications through single sign-on, a shared user interface, and a standardized approach to integrating existing applications into a common platform. The selected candidate will support the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of React applications while helping ensure seamless integration with the broader platform.
Requirements
- 3+ years of front-end software engineering experience using React.
- Experience working within formal software release processes.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with Java back-end applications.
- Familiarity with accessibility testing.
- Active Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end defects in two React applications, including a small public-facing single-page application supported by a Redis-backed service.
- Support embedded-adapter integration that enables legacy functionality to operate within the modern platform interface.
- Maintain application stability and functionality while supporting the broader modernization effort.
- Participate in two-week Agile sprints, including customer demonstrations at the conclusion of each sprint.
- Follow established release processes to support reliable application updates.
