About The Position

Concept Solutions, LLC (CS) is seeking a React Software Engineer to support a mission-critical application modernization program for a Department of War (DoW) customer. This role offers an opportunity to help modernize and sustain production applications while improving how users access and interact with essential systems. The program is focused on creating a unified platform that provides single sign-on, a consistent user experience, and a repeatable approach to integrating existing applications—all while maintaining operational continuity. The ideal candidate brings hands-on React development experience, strong front-end troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with structured software release processes.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of professional front-end software engineering experience using React.
Experience working within formal software release processes.
U.S. citizenship required.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoW security clearance.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with Java-based back-end systems.
Familiarity with accessibility testing.
Active Secret security clearance or higher is strongly preferred and may allow an earlier start.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve front-end defects across two React applications, including a small public-facing single-page application supported by a Redis-backed service.
Support ongoing maintenance and sustainment of production applications to ensure reliability and functionality.
Support embedded-adapter integration that enables legacy application functionality to operate within the modernized platform shell.
Collaborate with the development team to maintain application stability while supporting modernization efforts.
Participate in two-week Agile sprints, including customer demonstrations at the conclusion of each sprint.
