Software Engineer Lead - Embedded, Dallas, TX
About The Position
As the Software Engineer Lead - Embedded, you will be responsible for guiding the development of mission-critical embedded software across multiple programs. This role involves leading the design, development, and integration of C/C++ embedded applications, planning and coordinating software development activities, and developing, documenting, testing, and debugging complex algorithms. You will also collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless system integration and resolve program errors, produce operating instructions, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering or related field
- C++ 11 or higher
- Embedded real-time software development
- Hardware/Software integration & test
- Linux OS
- Experience leading a software development team through different phases of the software development life cycle
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
