About The Position

EverHealth is seeking a Software Engineer IV to focus on its technology platform that enables medical practices of all sizes to make care more informed, personalized, interactive, and adaptable. This platform has been used by thousands of physicians to provide care to millions of patients and can be tailored to various medical practice sizes and is open to third-party innovation via APIs. The software development team within EverHealth is responsible for developing new features and functionality that maintain existing experiences and drive innovation to support growth for the solution and customers. The company is looking for talented, energetic, and motivated individuals to join their team and is committed to digitally transforming the service economy with tailored, end-to-end SaaS solutions.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years working with Python/Django (expertise required)
  • 5-8 years working with JavaScript and modern SPA frameworks (React experience preferred)
  • 5-8 years working with OOP
  • 5-8 years working with Rest API/GraphQL experience (Apollo)
  • 5-8 years working with version control systems (Github)
  • 5-8 years working with Work Management and Documentation using Atlassian Suite (Jira/Confluence)
  • 5-8 years working with ORM frameworks (SqlAlchemy)
  • 5-8 years working with Relational databases (SQL Server / T-SQL preferred), including complex stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning
  • 5-8 years working with Caching technologies like Redis
  • Experience designing and developing enterprise level software
  • Experience with Multi-threaded applications
  • Experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and Observability (New Relic/Sentry)
  • 1-2 years working with AI/ML
  • General understanding of ANSI HIPAA transactions, (835, 837, 270, 271, etc.)
  • General understanding of Health Information Technology (HIT)
  • General understanding of U.S. healthcare regulatory requirements such as MIPS, Meaningful Use, or ONC certification standards
  • Must be eligible to work without sponsorship
  • May require travel to Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America

Responsibilities

  • Work with a team of industry experts to design and develop sophisticated software
  • Code, test and deployment of software
  • Assist team with problem solving and debugging to ensure solid, bug free platforms
  • Review pull requests
  • Contribute to agile ceremonies such as standup, refinement and retros
  • Expand and maintain unit test coverage
