About The Position

This 10-week summer internship program, called the Futures Program, is designed for students seeking real-world experience and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in healthcare technology. Interns will work on hands-on projects, build connections with leaders and associates, and participate in professional development, networking, and social events. The Software Engineer role focuses on developing the next generation of support and analytics tools for Netsmart's solutions. This position is ideal for individuals who are tenacious learners, can rapidly apply new knowledge, and collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, energetic, start-up-like environment.

Requirements

• Rising Senior or Rising Junior with a graduation date for a bachelor's or master's degree in December 2027, May 2028, December 2028, or May 2029.
• Basic programming experience using a modern object-oriented language such as Java, C++, C#, etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to take initiative and manage multiple detailed tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Demonstrates achievement in academics, internships, co-ops, or other work experience.
• All applicants for employment must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, including a drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Current student working toward a BA/BS degree in computer science, IS, or IT is preferred.
