About The Position

The Software Engineer in Test designs, develops, maintains, and implements automated tests using industry-standard processes and tools. The role balances automation goals with manual functional testing and contributes to application quality and stability through continuous improvement. It involves working independently within Agile Sprint or Kanban teams, collaborating with technical and business experts, and applying modern test-driven and automation-driven development practices. The position emphasizes customer focus, ownership of solution quality, clear communication, and curiosity about emerging technologies and how they can address business problems.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of test automation development experience using Java or a similar language.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technology-related field such as Computer Science or Engineering.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright and Selenium.
• Experience with source code management and software delivery lifecycle tools such as Git or BitBucket.
• Validated technical skills in areas such as SQL, HTML, JavaScript, Java, or Python.
• Demonstrated experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins Core.
• Experience with containerized test execution in Docker.
• Demonstrated experience with test case management tools, test case definitions, and test reporting.
• Ability to work independently as part of an Agile Sprint or Kanban team.
• Experience with Agile methodology and tool sets such as JIRA.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new technical skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in native application or cross-platform testing; Appium is preferable, while Eggplant, Espresso, XCTest, and Jasmine are optional.
