Senior Software Engineer in Test
About The Position
HighRes is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Test for a full-time role developing test automation for cloud-based products, with a focus on AI-based features. The role augments an existing team of test automation engineers and reports to the Director of Cloud Software. The ideal candidate has significant experience with software engineering, test automation, and recent AI technologies. The position is remote, with approximately two weeks of travel per year. Work is conducted during Eastern U.S. daytime hours, with occasional off-hours work for planned or unplanned downtime events. The salary range is $125,000–$145,000.

- Significant experience with software engineering, test automation, and recent AI technologies.

- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing customer needs and priorities.
Responsibilities
- Develop test automation tools and frameworks for evaluating the quality of AI-based software, including skills, agents, and MCP servers.
- Work with the DevOps team to automate test executions against deployed application environments.
- Work with the application development team to identify and prioritize bug fixes.
- Communicate with the QA and application development teams daily and respond to their QA-related needs.
