About The Position
CONSULTFIZ LATAM, a fully owned subsidiary of Confiz LLC, is looking for an experienced Software Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Test Automation to develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions supporting Supply Chain and Warehouse Management systems for a Fortune 500 client. This is a 100% remote position for candidates currently based in Mexico and legally authorized to work in Mexico. Advanced conversational English is required, and availability to join within 15-30 days is expected. Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Proven experience with Test Automation (Selenium preferred; Cypress or Playwright accepted).
- Experience with unit, integration, regression, and performance/load testing.
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, SQL, and API testing tools such as Postman.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions).
- Previous on-call / production support experience is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Kafka or similar messaging technologies.
- Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Experience with test strategy, test planning, and quality assurance practices.
- Understanding of security testing and application vulnerabilities.
- Willingness to perform both automated and manual testing.
- Currently based in Mexico and legally authorized to work in Mexico.
- Advanced conversational English required.
- Availability to join within 15–30 days.
Nice To Haves
- Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic or Splunk.
- Experience with JMeter or Gatling.
- Supply Chain or Warehouse Management Systems experience.
- Familiarity with Dematic WMS.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain automated testing frameworks and execute manual testing when required.
- Perform unit, integration, regression, API, performance, and security testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with development teams on system design, architecture, and code quality.
- Provide mandatory on-call production support and troubleshoot system issues.
