About The Position

The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is part of a business-aligned development squad responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. The role combines software development and test engineering, emphasizing Core Java programming, technical problem-solving, and automation development. The SDET designs and develops scalable automated testing solutions across UI, API, and backend systems, applying software engineering principles to improve quality, reliability, and testability. The position calls for a hands-on Java programmer who can independently write, debug, and maintain code and use those development skills to build robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation solutions. The SDET collaborates with developers, product owners, and engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle and participates in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model with three days onsite and two days remote. The specific onsite schedule includes Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and a third day unique to each team or employee. Compensation includes base pay and an annual incentive; benefits vary by location.
