About The Position

The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is part of a business-aligned development squad responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. The position combines software development and test engineering, emphasizing Core Java programming, technical problem-solving, and test automation development. The SDET designs and develops scalable automated testing solutions across UI, API, and backend systems, applying software engineering principles to improve software quality, reliability, and testability. The role requires hands-on Java programming to independently write, debug, and maintain code and create robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation solutions. The SDET works with developers, product owners, and engineering teams across the software development lifecycle and participates in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. DTCC’s Information Technology group delivers secure, reliable technology solutions supporting the global capital markets. The company offers a flexible/hybrid work model of three days onsite and two days remote; the onsite days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and a third day determined by the team or employee.
