About The Position

This role is responsible for the design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of secure software applications for moderately complex programs and projects. The engineer will develop .NET/C# backend services, APIs, integrations, business logic, and data-access components, as well as responsive Angular/TypeScript web interfaces. Collaboration with UX, systems, software and hardware engineers, test teams, product users, and program leadership is essential to translate operational needs into reliable, scalable, accessible, and intuitive software solutions. The position involves participation throughout the software development lifecycle, including code and design reviews, developing test procedures and documentation, resolving defects, and improving performance and security. Contributions to technical estimates, proposals, and planning activities are also expected.

Requirements

  • Experience with modern .NET, C#, Angular, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and object-oriented design.
  • Experience with source control, peer review, and software configuration management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance when required.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with secure authentication and authorization.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD.
  • Familiarity with containerized deployments and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense programs.
  • Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
