About The Position

As an engineer on the Marketplace Ads Team, you will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and debugging software that helps real estate agents get, work, and manage new buyer/seller leads. You’ll also be working on internal features that other departments at our company depend on in order to serve our real estate agents’ needs. With every feature you implement, you will be finding ways to steward the codebase, creating examples of ideal architecture that can benefit the rest of the company and the engineers who come after you. This will be a challenging position as you get up to speed. In order to deliver all that we do for our agents, we have a lot of different systems and layers of business logic in place. We are actively rethinking and reworking this part of the codebase so you will be entering in the middle of a transition and have a lot to catch up on.
