About The Position

The Software Engineer II will create scalable user experiences and API- and service-based solutions as part of an experienced, cross-functional, DevOps-based Agile product development team. The team is responsible for the full product development lifecycle, from conception and discovery through development, deployment, measurement, and continuous improvement. The role calls for front-end and back-end development expertise, strong collaboration, visual-design awareness, and a focus on outcomes and client experience. The engineer will work with users, architects, engineers, designers, and product managers to develop software solutions; contribute to technical design and architecture; and help maintain high-quality development practices. The position includes designing and developing macro- and micro-services, building mobile-responsive experiences, meeting non-functional requirements, reviewing code, documenting software, and using test-first and acceptance-criteria-driven approaches. The engineer is also expected to collaborate with and advise peers and pursue ongoing professional development. Candidates who advance beyond the initial screening must complete a formal technical assessment to validate coding proficiency and technical competency.
