About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join an engineering team building scalable, high-quality web applications. The role works across front-end and back-end development, primarily using .NET (C#) and React/JavaScript, and requires ownership of work and the ability to solve complex technical challenges. The engineering environment is AI-first, with AI-assisted and agentic development integrated into the software development process. The engineer will use AI coding assistants and autonomous agents to accelerate development, while critically evaluating, testing, and taking ownership of AI-generated code to ensure it meets production standards. This is a remote international independent-contractor engagement for LATAM candidates. Compensation is USD $23–$26 per hour, approximately $3,680–$4,160 per month. Hours must be documented and submitted through timesheets. Days off, sick days, and local public holidays are unpaid and non-billable; there may be opportunities to work on certain holidays. The company will provide and ship required hardware. The expected start date is approximately four weeks after signing the offer to allow for equipment shipment and setup.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
Strong proficiency in .NET (C#) and experience developing back-end applications.
Solid front-end development skills with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Hands-on professional experience using AI coding assistants and/or agentic development tools to build, debug, and improve software.
Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases and data modeling.
Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
Understanding of web application security best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to adapt to new technologies and continuously develop technical skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience customizing AI development workflows, including custom prompts, tool integrations, or multi-agent systems.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using .NET (C#) and React/JavaScript.
Build responsive front-end experiences and reliable back-end services.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
Leverage AI coding assistants and agentic workflows throughout the development lifecycle.
Review, debug, test, and validate AI-generated code to ensure quality, security, and maintainability.
Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to design and deliver new features.
Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards.
Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize application performance.
Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Stay current with emerging technologies, development practices, and AI-powered engineering tools.
