Senior Software Development Engineer (.NET, React, Azure)
About The Position
As a Senior Software Engineer at Signify Health, you will be a key member of a collaborative team responsible for designing, delivering, and operating business-critical distributed systems. The role calls for technically strong, passionate people with an entrepreneurial spirit to build and sustain innovative solutions. The work supports Signify Health’s unified technology platform for value-based care, which transforms the home into a health hub and aims to improve care while reducing spending. Signify Health coordinates care across individuals’ clinical, social, and behavioral needs, connecting them with primary care providers and community resources. Its technology and decision-support services help simplify care coordination and support value-based care programs.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience.
- Strong foundation in software engineering, including problem solving, data structures, algorithms, patterns, and concurrency.
- Strong understanding of and demonstrated experience with at least one programming language, such as .NET or Java.
- Experience using full-stack development to ship and operate large-scale systems.
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational database management systems such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Strong experience with distributed systems design, implementation, and operation at scale.
- Strong experience with a cloud vendor such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Clear and effective communication.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Familiarity with asynchronous, event-based architectures.
- Experience with Kafka, REST APIs, Protobuf, gRPC, Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
- Experience with an application and performance monitoring platform such as New Relic or Grafana.
- Experience establishing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience writing and maintaining frontend client applications; Angular or React preferred.
- Experience with agile methodologies.
