IndeedRemote,
$100,000 - $210,000

About The Position

Our team owns Interview Administration and Scheduling at Indeed, which enables employers and job seekers to manage and connect via an interview on Indeed’s platform. We’re looking for an experienced backend software engineer to help us design, build, and launch improvements to Indeed’s web applications for enabling employers to schedule interviews with job seekers. These improvements are targeted at growing the number of employers who find value in connecting with and interviewing candidates on Indeed. In addition to this work, you will also play a key role in helping us evolve our front-end technical stack to enable us to better solve customer problems. You will collaborate with designers, product managers, data scientists, and engineers to design and deliver product experiences that meet customer needs. You'll build scalable, reusable backend systems using technologies such as Java and Kotlin, while continuously improving our technical stack, testing practices, and development processes. You'll work with cloud-based services to support reliable, high-performing applications and take a thoughtful, systematic approach to solving technical challenges rather than implementing one-off fixes. Throughout your work, you'll focus on building solutions that encourage adoption of the platform capabilities your team delivers.
