Requirements

  • 0+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
  • Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Python, C, C++, Java
  • Experience with Agile development practices
  • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Nice To Haves

  • Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
  • Specific majors: Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, Math, Applied Math, Industrial Engineering, or related scientific or STEM discipline
  • Knowledge of DevOps, Git, Linux/UNIX
  • Strong preference for candidates with hands-on experience in C/C++
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative approaches and solutions to address some of our customers’ most complex technical challenges
  • Collaborate with Agile development teams across product areas, including sensors, effectors, command and control, and other mission-focused capabilities for a Collaborative Autonomy Framework
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate algorithms and capabilities, share technical expertise, and develop products across the organization
