Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Well organized and demonstrated excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and teamwork skills
Strong communication skills for effective communication to various audiences
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects

Nice To Haves

OpenGL, Vulkan, or other Graphics API experience
Embedded C++, bare metal, or Platform Level Software Experience
Experience with avionics display systems and safety-critical software development
Familiarity with RTOS environments and low-level software integration

Responsibilities

Design, develop, document, test, and debug low-level software utilizing SoC peripherals to perform data exchange with discrete hardware via a bus such as I2C, SPI, or PCIe.
Design, develop, document, test, and debug middleware and application software containing logical and mathematical algorithms.
Perform hardware and low-level software integration resolving issues around timing, signal slew rates, device configuration, power-on sequences, data synchronization, memory management, etc.
Design and implement build procedures that are used to support hardware and software product development and function.
Coordinate with other project team members in the planning, design, development, and utilization of display systems to ensure smooth operations on software engineering activities.
Ensure compliance with program and product requirements and certification processes.
