Software Engineer I - Active TS/SCI w/poly clearance
About The Position
CyberTrend is seeking a Software Engineer I with an Active TS/SCI with poly clearance. The company has a strong history in the industry, serving as a technology leader on defense projects and programs with established partnerships with AWS and IBM, government agencies, the intelligence community, and defense contractors. This role is a hands-on System Engineering/Signals Analysis position supporting a mission-critical system. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of system support, including requirements management, data management and analysis, system testing, and user support. The position requires experience with modern communication networks and/or telephone engineering, in addition to strong hands-on engineering skills.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with poly clearance
- Seven (7) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity
- Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
- Strong interpersonal, communications and basic writing skills
- Basic Linux skills
- Experience with modern communication networks and/or telephone engineering
- Strong hands-on engineering skills
- Strong Java + Spring Boot experience building microservices
- Hands-on AWS and infrastructure-as-code experience
