About The Position

Mimecast is seeking a Software Engineer I, Full Stack to join the Incydr product development team. The role focuses on developing the front end of Incydr, an Insider Risk Management product, while also contributing to backend services and APIs. The web application uses React and TypeScript, and backend services are built primarily with Kotlin and Java and hosted on AWS. The engineer will implement interfaces, consume and help design APIs, and work with partner teams to deliver a consistent, high-quality user experience that helps security teams protect corporate data and reduce insider risk. The position is part of an AI-first engineering organization that uses AI-powered tools for development, testing, documentation, and operations. The engineer is expected to contribute to and champion effective adoption of these tools. Work begins with well-scoped assignments and can grow toward ownership of small features end to end, including testing, supportability, deployment, and production support. The team works cross-functionally with Product Management, User Experience, Information Experience, QA, technical writers, customer champions, and other development teams. Mimecast offers formal and on-the-job learning opportunities and a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in the office at least two days per week. The role may be eligible for incentive plans and additional benefits. The stated base salary range is $100,000–$150,000, with compensation dependent on location, qualifications, experience, and skills.
