Software Engineer I

The Coca-Cola Company•Atlanta, GA
•$124,600 - $148,200

About The Position

The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a full-stack Software Engineer to design, build, support, and evolve applications for its sales execution ecosystem. These applications support sales capabilities such as promotions, deals, sales execution, and related customer workflows. The technology landscape includes Salesforce, custom web applications, backend APIs and services, SQL Server databases, and integrations with CRM, mobile, web, and other enterprise applications. This is not a Salesforce-only role: the ideal candidate has strong frontend engineering skills, meaningful Salesforce development experience or backend/API experience, and an understanding of enterprise integration patterns. The engineer will develop modern web experiences, preferably using React, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS; work with Salesforce technologies including Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs; and build backend services and REST APIs that connect Salesforce with custom applications and enterprise systems. The role includes working with SQL Server and other data sources, designing reliable integration flows, testing and supporting applications, and taking solutions from design through deployment, monitoring, and production support. The engineer will collaborate with Product, Architecture, Data, QA, Security, and other engineering teams to translate business needs into reliable technical solutions and improve existing applications through modernization, simplification, performance improvements, and technical debt reduction. The position is based in Atlanta, United States, with 0%–25% travel required and no relocation provided. The listed U.S. base pay range is $124,600–$148,200, with an annual incentive reference value of 15%. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits is offered, dependent on the position. All persons hired must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete Form I-9 upon hire.

  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and integrating distributed enterprise applications.
  • Strong backend engineering experience with a modern server-side technology such as Java/Spring Boot, .NET/C#, or equivalent.
  • Experience with relational databases, preferably SQL Server, including data modeling, SQL development, and performance considerations.
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization concepts used in modern APIs and enterprise applications, including OAuth 2.0.
  • Experience with Git, automated testing, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across application layers.
