About The Position

Samsara is seeking recent or upcoming graduates to join their team and help shape the future of connected operations. This role offers the opportunity to dive into challenging, real-world projects with the freedom and responsibility of a full-time engineer. New Grads will have a greenfield opportunity for growth and a high degree of ownership from day one, building and innovating to make a tangible impact on global customers. Access to the latest AI tools with generous token allotments will help accelerate shipping and learning. New Grads can work on a wide range of high-impact engineering challenges across the connected operations platform, including backend infrastructure, full-stack development, mobile development with React Native, and embedded software for hardware. The interview process will assess past experience, learning interests, and best fit across engineering teams. Samsara's engineering teams utilize Golang for backend, TypeScript and React for web, GraphQL for data access, and React Native for mobile. Direct experience with this stack is not required, but experience with similar technologies is encouraged.

Requirements

• Current Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• Expected graduation date in Winter/Spring of 2027.
• Experience with similar technologies to Golang, TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and React Native is strongly encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Build and innovate on challenging, real-world projects.
• Make a tangible impact on global customers.
• Build backend infrastructure for the IoT platform, scaling data ingestion and storage systems.
• Work across the full stack to create user experiences that turn data into actionable insights.
• Partner closely with product and design teams to iterate on features.
• Strengthen the infrastructure behind the React Native app.
• Build and maintain software that runs directly on Samsara hardware, including areas like edge AI, multimedia frameworks, power management, and real-time data processing.
