Software Engineer, Full Stack

InstaSwitchChicago, IL
Onsite

About The Position

Account switching is a genuinely hard problem - moving payroll, recurring payments, and spending patterns from one financial institution to another requires integrating with a fragmented ecosystem of banks, financial aggregators, and merchant sites, often with inconsistent APIs and incomplete data. We're building the infrastructure that makes this seamless at scale, and we're doing it with a small team that moves fast and owns everything it builds. We need a strong full-stack engineer who thrives on variety. You'll work across a Rails backend, a TypeScript/Lit frontend, Python microservices, and AWS infrastructure - sometimes in the same day. The work ranges from building partner-facing APIs and banking integrations to shipping frontend components to standing up new services from scratch. If you're energized by a high-variety workload where your decisions run in production for years, this is the right role.
