About The Position

The Digital Enterprise Technology – Legal, Risk & Compliance (LRC) Application Development team is seeking a curious Full Stack Software Engineer focused on engineering excellence, clean architecture, and delivering end-to-end features across the stack. The role uses modern AI coding assistants as a regular part of software development to accelerate delivery and improve code quality. Salesforce is the primary building platform, but Salesforce experience is not required; engineers with strong software fundamentals can ramp up on the platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 4 years of professional full-stack software engineering experience, with strong fundamentals across frontend, backend, APIs, and data.
  • Proficiency in modern frontend technologies, including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks.
  • Backend development experience, including object-oriented programming, RESTful API design, databases and SQL, and data modeling.
  • Daily hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar, including the ability to write precise prompts and evaluate generated code for correctness, security, and performance.
  • Knowledge of software design patterns, the software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, Git, and CI/CD practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently design and deliver scalable technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing on the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flows, and the platform security model.
  • Exposure to Agentforce, Data Cloud, Einstein AI, or other AI-agent or workflow-orchestration platforms.
  • Experience with enterprise integration tools such as MuleSoft, Platform Events, or Named Credentials, or with event-driven architectures.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification, or equivalent industry certifications.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, containerization, and observability or engineering productivity metrics.
  • Experience shipping a production AI-powered feature, such as agentic workflows, RAG, or an LLM-backed user interface.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and ship full-stack features across user interfaces, APIs, business logic, data models, and integrations.
  • Build component-based, responsive frontend experiences and robust backend services and APIs using sound object-oriented and software design principles.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools throughout the software development lifecycle for scaffolding, refactoring, test generation, debugging, and code review, while rigorously evaluating AI-generated output.
  • Design and implement integrations using REST APIs, event-driven patterns, and enterprise integration practices.
  • Develop Salesforce solutions using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and the platform security model where applicable.
  • Explore and build agentic and AI-powered features, such as Agentforce, workflow automation, and AI agents, with appropriate governance and human-in-the-loop checks.
  • Own features through solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies, and help improve the team's engineering practices.
