About The Position

Salesforce’s Digital Enterprise Technology – Legal, Risk & Compliance (LRC) Application Development team is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer focused on engineering excellence and AI-native development. The role builds and ships end-to-end features across frontend, backend, APIs, data, and integrations, primarily on the Salesforce platform. Salesforce experience is helpful but not required; engineers with strong core skills can ramp up on the platform. The engineer uses AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, and GitHub Copilot throughout the software development lifecycle, while critically reviewing AI-generated output for quality, correctness, security, and performance. The role also explores AI-powered and agentic features for business process automation, with appropriate governance and human-in-the-loop checks. The position owns features from solution design through development, testing, deployment, and production support, and contributes to CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and improvements to team engineering practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 4 years of professional full-stack software engineering experience, with strong fundamentals across frontend, backend, APIs, and data.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frontend frameworks.
  • Backend development experience, including object-oriented programming, RESTful API design, databases/SQL, and data modeling.
  • Hands-on daily experience with AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar.
  • Ability to write precise prompts and critically evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, security, and performance.
  • Grounding in software design patterns, SDLC, Agile methodologies, Git, and CI/CD practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to independently design and deliver scalable technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing on the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flows, and the platform security model.
  • Exposure to Agentforce, Data Cloud, Einstein AI, or other AI-agent or workflow-orchestration platforms.
  • Experience with enterprise integration tools such as MuleSoft, Platform Events, or Named Credentials, or with event-driven architectures.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I/II certification or equivalent industry certifications.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, containerization, and observability or engineering productivity metrics.
  • Experience shipping a production AI-powered feature, such as agentic workflows, RAG, or an LLM-backed UI.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and ship full-stack features end-to-end, including user interfaces, APIs, business logic, data models, and integrations.
  • Build modern, responsive frontend experiences and robust backend services and APIs using sound object-oriented and software design principles.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools throughout the software development lifecycle for scaffolding, refactoring, test generation, debugging, and code review, while maintaining engineering rigor over generated output.
  • Design and implement integrations using REST APIs, event-driven patterns, and enterprise integration practices.
  • Develop Salesforce solutions using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, and the Salesforce platform security model where applicable.
  • Explore and build agentic and AI-powered features, including Agentforce, workflow automation, and AI agents, with appropriate governance and human-in-the-loop checks.
  • Own features through solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Raise the bar on engineering practices across the team.
