As a Software Engineer - ETL/Informatica Developer within PNC's Retail Technology organization, you can be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Strongsville, OH; Cleveland, OH; Birmingham, AL; Phoenix, AZ; Lakewood, CO. Requirements

Hands-on experience in ETL development using Informatica PowerCenter and PowerExchange
Strong experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise-scale data pipelines
Proven ability to work with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, and NoSQL platforms like MongoDB
Solid understanding of data integration from mainframe sources, including VSAM, flat files, COBOL copybooks, and DB2
Advanced SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning
Experience implementing complex data transformations, business rules, and data quality checks
Knowledge of ETL job monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support processes
Strong background in technical documentation, including ETL mappings, workflows, and design specifications
Ability to collaborate effectively with Business Analysts, QA, and application teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Experience ensuring data quality, accuracy, and completeness across enterprise data systems
Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
University / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows and mappings for enterprise data integration
Build and support data pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter and PowerExchange
Extract and process data from mainframe sources (VSAM, flat files, COBOL copybooks, DB2)
Implement complex data transformations and business rules
Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, and performance tuning
Work with relational databases such as Oracle, Mongo DB, SQL Server, or Teradata
Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot issues, and provide support
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness
Create and maintain technical documentation (mappings, workflows)
Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, and application teams to clarify data requirements
