About The Position

Aperio Global is seeking an ETL Developer to support for a geospatial visualization platform. As the developer, you will monitor and maintain the flow of data into the customer’s PostgreSQL database in addition to developing custom ETL solutions. Active/current TS/SCI with required polygraph.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 7 years of experience with a Master’s degree; or 6 years of experience with a Doctorate
• Active/current TS/SCI with required polygraph
• Willingness to work onsite full time in Mclean Virginia
• US citizenship required
• Degree in technical fields such as Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Geography etc.
• Experience using PostgreSQL for data management
• Knowledge using APIs to retrieve data from various sources
• Experience using SQL to query large datasets
• Experience with programmatic data manipulation
• Knowledge of ETL concepts and best practices

Nice To Haves

• Experience using AWS cloud services to efficiently gather and service data
• Experience using Apache NiFi
• Familiarity with python data manipulation
• Familiarity with Intelligence Community data
• Familiarity with geospatial tools and applications
• Experience supporting enterprise applications data holdings

Responsibilities

• Ensuring seamless data integration with all aspects of the application
• Working with Apache NiFi to develop new ETL flows

• Working closely with team members to gather data requirements
