About The Position

Tradepost is building the liquidity infrastructure for the real world, aiming to make everything instantly tradeable. Unlike traditional assets like stocks and crypto, physical assets like collectibles and watches currently take weeks to sell, ship, and settle. Tradepost is addressing this gap across various asset classes. The company is backed by prominent investors and is composed of a passionate team with deep knowledge in the hobby space. They are a small, agile team competing with larger companies to modernize an industry that has seen little change since the dot-com era. They are seeking an engineer to join them as they scale their Core Marketplace & Exchange business, with the goal of reaching $100M/month in volume. The engineer will play a crucial role in shaping the future of trading and investing in Cultural Assets, with the opportunity to make a significant impact on a rapidly growing product.

Responsibilities

Own Core Marketplace & Exchange Infra: Take ownership of products and features across our core Marketplace and Exchange as we continue to ship, scale, and maintain the products already driving real volume.
Platform: Design and build critical APIs that help our buyers, sellers, and partners interact with the Tradepost ecosystem including our App, Terminal, Exchange API, and more.
Payments: Support our team in maintaining our core payments infrastructure that supporting both traditional and crypto payment rails.
Settlement: Expand our shipping services to support more intelligent and cost-effective order routing on thousands of parcels every month.
Understand Our Users: Think like our users and put yourself in their shoes.
Launch New Products: Help build and launch net-new businesses, never-before-tried products, and lines of business that will change the future of Cultural Assets forever.
