About The Position

Patreon is hiring a Backend Software Engineer to support its creator insights and analytics experiences. The role partners with Data Engineering, Data Science, Product, and Design to turn creator and fan data into useful features. The engineer will build and own services, APIs, and data flows behind creator insights, working across the data layer and product surface. This includes designing data models, building and maintaining pipelines and jobs, and ensuring the data presented to creators is correct, fast, and reliable. The position is based in New York or San Francisco and follows a hybrid model requiring three days per week in the office for employees based in office locations. The company describes its values as putting creators first, building with craft, making it happen, and winning together. Patreon is an equal opportunity employer and provides a competitive benefits package, with offerings varying by country.
