About The Position

At Numeric, we’re building the modern data platform for accounting and finance. We’re building the financial platform that realizes the dream of live, rich, trustworthy data and insights for companies to drive decision-making & execution. Our Close product is the operating center for accounting and finance teams. Our product weaves collaboration, automation, and workflow tools with deeply-integrated financial data and reporting. Customers depend on Numeric to alert on their financial transactions, perform trend analyses, match money movement across accounts, and more as they close the books each month. We’re looking for engineers who enjoy shipping in a tight feedback loop with customers, and take pride in raising the quality and robustness of the system in which they work.

Requirements

3+ years of full-time experience building software, ideally some tenure of >2 years in one company.
Fluency of backend fundamentals, including data structures, database fundamentals, performance concepts.
Code design skills to build robust, high-quality programs.

Nice To Haves

B2B SAAS experience, especially in related areas like finance, accounting, or in other complex domains.
Strong AI development workflow.
Strong product thinking, user empathy, or design thinking.
