About The Position
This role is responsible for various tasks related to the preparation and handling of products, including building crates, processing glass, and wrapping finished goods. The technician will also perform equipment checks, maintain a safe work environment, manage inventory, and ensure supplies are stocked. The position requires the ability to understand the coater schedule and perform basic troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Ability to comprehend coater schedule
- Ability to do basic troubleshooting and communicate issues to maintenance
- Must wear required safety gear at all times
Responsibilities
- Building crates for the coater
- Handling and processing glass in a safe and efficient manner
- Performing all equipment checks and PM’s prior to shift start
- Wrapping finished product
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Conducting yourself in a professional manner with co-workers
- Maintaining equipment and area in tour ready condition
- Managing inventory of box close supplies and turning in weekly orders
- Ensuring supplies are stocked during and after your shift
- Comprehending the coater schedule
- Performing basic troubleshooting and communicating issues to maintenance
- Wearing required safety gear at all times
- Performing any reasonable duty as assigned
