About The Position

This role is responsible for building crates for the coater, handling and processing glass safely and efficiently, and wrapping finished products. The technician will also perform equipment checks and preventative maintenance before their shift, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and manage inventory of box close supplies. Additionally, the role requires the ability to comprehend the coater schedule, perform basic troubleshooting, and communicate issues to maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Building crates for the coater
• Handling and processing glass in a safe and efficient manner
• Performing all equipment checks and PM’s prior to shift start
• Wrapping finished product
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Conducting yourself in a professional manner with co-workers
• Maintaining equipment and area in tour ready condition
• Managing inventory of box close supplies and turning in weekly orders
• Ensuring supplies are stocked during and after your shift
• Comprehending the coater schedule
• Performing basic troubleshooting and communicating issues to maintenance
• Performing any reasonable duty as assigned
