Software Engineer

Blink Health is seeking a Software Engineer who is passionate about building products that provide the best possible experience for customers purchasing prescription medications. The engineer will work on a highly collaborative team, taking ownership of challenging problems and driving strategic solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential in growing the business, building the core platform, and ensuring customers have access to affordable and satisfying pharmacy experiences. The specific focus of the engineering role will be determined through the interview process, with potential areas including telemedicine, home delivery, growth, core pharmacy platform, and new product line development.

• Designing new APIs to power new features
• Fixing performance problems and debugging production issues
• Performing peer code and architecture reviews
• Building new features, writing unit tests, and leading the release of these features to production
• Developing and AB testing new ReactJS components to improve user experience
• Helping the team ship new products and features successfully with the right skills, mentorship, and organizational resources
• Coaching, mentoring, and developing engineers to reach individual goals while fostering cross-functional collaboration and product success
• Taking responsibility for the long-term success of product projects and people

• Professional experience working on a team turning ideas into reliable, maintainable code
• Familiarity with AWS, Python, Javascript, Mysql/Postgres, and Linux
