Requirements
- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Full Stack and Gen-AI development
- 5+ years shipping production software with depth in distributed Python services, TypeScript/React desktop apps, or LLM-backed agent runtimes.
- Strong Python and TypeScript/React, with Electron production experience.
- WebSockets and event-driven streaming architectures.
- LLM application engineering on AWS Bedrock or comparable platforms — agent frameworks, orchestration, and interoperability protocols (MCP, A2A, ACP)
- Approaches for Memory and Knowledge graphs, semantic search, and vector stores.
- Owns features end-to-end: tests, evals, telemetry, docs, code review.
Responsibilities
- Lead the overall development life cycle of software solutions and manage complex projects with significant impact.
- Coordinate with senior engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for product development.
- Assure that the team's designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
- Prioritize, plan projects and features, manage partners, and track external commitments.
- Monitor operation of production services to ensure Operational Excellence.
- Foster the career development of direct reports.
