About The Position

Fiserv is seeking a Software Development Engineering - Sr Professional I to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications that support the company’s business goals and client needs. The role works with cross-functional teams to turn requirements into technical specifications and deliver software solutions. It also includes maintaining existing codebases, leading peer reviews, and providing technical guidance to junior developers. Responsibilities may be modified as necessary and are not all-inclusive.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in software development.
• At least 2 years of experience with Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages.
• At least 2 years of experience with SQL databases.
• At least 2 years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
• At least 2 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• At least 2 years of experience with Agile methodologies.
• At least 4 years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Experience with Fiserv products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications supporting Fiserv's business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Code, test, and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.
