About The Position

At Fiserv, the Software Development Engineering - Sr Professional I helps transform financial services technology by designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. The role works with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with business goals and client needs. It is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, the District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Maine, or Washington.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in software development.
• At least 2 years of experience with Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages.
• At least 2 years of experience with SQL databases.
• At least 2 years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP services.
• At least 2 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• At least 2 years of experience with Agile methodologies.
• At least 4 years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Experience with Fiserv products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications that support Fiserv's business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Code, test, and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.
