Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• Five (5) years of experience performing software solutions design and development within cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, GCP, and Cloud Foundry
• Designing and developing software using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and microservice technologies including GitHub Co-Pilot, IntelliJ, Gradle, 12 factors principles, and JFrog
• Designing solutions using databases including Oracle and MySQL, and messaging tools and frameworks including Kafka, ActiveMQ, and RabbitMQ
• Deploying processes using EagleEye
• Ensuring API security, access management, encryption, and cryptography
• Performing log and data management
• Working with multi-datacenter distributions, gateways, and containerization
• Creating visualization, alerting, detecting anomalies, and performing AI/ML operations using ELK stack
• Developing CI/CD pipelines using Concourse, Jenkins, and Spinnaker
• Of which three (3) years include upgrading MySQL versions
• Using observability frameworks including AppDynamics and Mantis
• Using code scanning tools including SonarQube, Checkmarx, WhiteSource, and Synk

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to a team responsible for defining solutions, developing, testing, and maintaining BSS and OSS systems
• Perform software solutions design and development within cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, GCP, and Cloud Foundry
• Design and develop software using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and microservice technologies including GitHub Co-Pilot, IntelliJ, Gradle, 12 factors principles and JFrog

• Research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports
• Monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products
• Review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements
• Conduct analysis to determine integration needs
• Work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements
• Guide and mentor junior-level engineers
