Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• Five (5) years of experience designing, developing, and deploying advertising platform software using AWS services including EC2, S3, EKS, NLB, ELB, Lambda, and VPC
• Five (5) years of experience maintaining and supporting system architecture, data flow using Ansible, Helm, and Bash Scripting
• Five (5) years of experience developing and managing progressive rollouts, monitoring, and alerting platforms using Python
• Five (5) years of experience servicing software update processes and rolling out software releases using Jenkins and Python
• Five (5) years of experience using Grafana for software monitoring, alerting, and visibility
• Two (2) years include maintaining and supporting distributed microservices structure
• Two (2) years include developing Prometheus exporters using Go
• Experience using the following tools and technologies: AWS CloudWatch, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Kops (Kubernetes Operations), Go, Groovy, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and ELK stack
• Experience researching and creating documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports, using GitHub, Lucidchart, and Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in designing, developing, and deploying advertising platform software using AWS services including EC2, S3, EKS, NLB, ELB, Lambda, VPC, and CloudWatch
• Maintain and support system architecture, data flow, and distributed microservices structure using Ansible, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Kops (Kubernetes Operations), Helm, and Bash Scripting
• Develop and manage progressive rollouts, monitoring, and alerting platforms using Go, Python, and Groovy
• Use Grafana, LOKI, and ELK stack for software monitoring, alerting, and visibility
• Develop Prometheus exporters using Go
• Support applications under development and customize current applications
• Assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, Python, and ArgoCD
• Analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications
• Document all development activity
• Research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports, using Atlassian Confluence, GitHub, Lucidchart, and Microsoft Excel
• Monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products
• Review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements
• Conduct analysis to determine integration needs
• Work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements
• Guide and mentor junior-level engineers
