About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• Five (5) years of experience performing site reliability engineering for advertising software products
• Five (5) years of experience performing computing, storage, and network resource management across on-premises environments, AWS, and OVH
• Five (5) years of experience developing IaC (Infrastructure as Code) solutions using Ansible, Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation
• Five (5) years of experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Python, and ArgoCD
• Five (5) years of experience using Grafana, LOKI, and ELK stack for software monitoring, alerting, and visibility
• Three (3) years of experience creating, managing, and deploying applications to the cloud using Kops (Kubernetes Operations), Helm, Terraform, and Bash Scripting
• Three (3) years of experience performing traffic load balancing for advertising systems
• Three (3) years of experience developing Prometheus exporters using Go
• Three (3) years of experience troubleshooting networks and performing packet capture and analysis using Tcpdump and Wireshark
• Three (3) years of experience implementing and validating software security measures
• One (1) year of experience creating and managing operational documents using Atlassian Confluence, GitHub, Lucidchart, and Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in designing and developing new software and web applications
• Perform site reliability engineering for advertising software products
• Create, manage, and deploy applications to the cloud using Kops (Kubernetes Operations), Helm, Terraform, and Bash Scripting
• Perform computing, storage, and network resource management across on-premises environments, AWS, and OVH
• Develop IaC (Infrastructure as Code) solutions using Ansible, Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation
• Build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, Python, and ArgoCD
• Use Grafana, LOKI, and ELK stack for software monitoring, alerting, and visibility
• Perform traffic load balancing for advertising systems
• Develop Prometheus exporters using Go
• Troubleshoot networks and perform packet capture and analysis using Tcpdump and Wireshark
• Implement and validate software security measures

• Analyze, test and assist with the integration of new applications, and oversee the documentation of all development activity
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements, conducting analysis to determine integration needs
• Support applications under development, and customize current applications
• Develop software update processes for existing applications
• Assist in the roll-out of software releases
• Oversee the researching, writing, and editing of documentation and technical requirements, including evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports
• Monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products, reviewing literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects
• Provide technical leadership throughout the design process, and guidance with regards to practices, procedures, and techniques
• Guide and mentor junior level Software Development Engineers
