Software Development Engineer (Conversion)
About The Position
CVS Health is seeking a Software Engineer to help build reusable user interface experiences for digital pharmacy products serving millions of people nationwide. The role supports the company’s effort to simplify and enable patients’ On Benefits and Off Benefits Pharmacy experiences. The engineer will develop expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly Angular and React JS, and build a foundation in frontend software engineering practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations. Approximately 75% of the role is hands-on work with Angular, SpringBoot, DevOps, Google Cloud Platform, and similar technologies. The remaining estimated 25% involves partnering with product, architecture, data science, and engineering. The role interacts daily with engineering peers and the Product Owner.
Requirements
- Successfully completed a corporate internship program.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Responsibilities
- Build reusable UI experiences that can be developed, deployed, and delivered independently and faster.
- Work hands-on with Angular, SpringBoot, DevOps, Google Cloud Platform, and similar technologies.
- Partner with product, architecture, data science, and engineering.
- Apply frontend software engineering practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
