About The Position

The Software Development Engineer develops and supports enterprise applications across Microsoft and Oracle technology platforms that support manufacturing, supply chain, and business operations. The role includes designing, developing, testing, implementing, and enhancing applications, integrations, and automations; collaborating with end users and project stakeholders to validate solutions; and supporting applications in production. The engineer also contributes to code reviews, system upgrades, migrations, deployments, patching, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across Microsoft and Oracle environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience developing enterprise applications using .NET (C#), SQL, Java, or similar technologies.
• Experience developing web applications, RESTful APIs, integrations, and business applications within Microsoft and Oracle environments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Azure Functions, Key Vault, Azure DevOps, and related cloud services.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Strong experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases, including database design, query development, optimization, reporting, and data integration.
• Experience supporting Oracle-based business systems and enterprise application environments, including JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
• Ability to independently design, develop, troubleshoot, support, and enhance enterprise applications in a production environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, time-management, and collaboration skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement enterprise applications, integrations, automations, and enhancements across Microsoft and Oracle platforms.
• Collaborate with end users and project stakeholders on usability testing, user acceptance testing, and solution validation to ensure applications meet business requirements.
• Develop and support integrations between JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Microsoft applications, cloud platforms, databases, and other enterprise systems.
• Participate in peer code reviews and maintain coding standards, documentation, and best practices.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution for enterprise applications and integrations.
• Support system upgrades, migrations, deployments, and patching across Microsoft and Oracle application environments.
• Identify, recommend, and implement enhancements to applications, development processes, automation solutions, and development best practices.
