The Software Development Engineer in Test for the Consent Management Platform is responsible for establishing and delivering test frameworks for consent and preference experiences across Pokémon’s digital ecosystem in a continuous integration and delivery model. A primary focus is the Consent Management capability: improving consistency, accountability, and scalability in how customer choices and preferences are captured, maintained, and honored across fan-facing experiences. The role develops the initial test strategy, including an automated framework to support continuous delivery of the platforms and services that enable this capability. These include the Preference Center, consent-management services and APIs, relevant data and identity integrations, audit capabilities, and technical controls supporting customer choices across websites, authenticated experiences, marketing platforms, event systems, and other global digital initiatives. The position works across fan experience, technology, privacy, and data governance. It collaborates with Software Engineering, DevOps, InfoSec, Legal, Privacy, Data Governance, Marketing Technology, Product, and business stakeholders to translate business, fan-experience, and regulatory requirements into platform capabilities and experiences. Success involves connecting business outcomes and fan experience with sound engineering execution while balancing customer needs, regulatory requirements, operational excellence, scalability, and long-term maintainability. This is a 12-month fixed-term role. It is classified as exempt in the US and is not a people-manager position. The role is based in a hybrid work environment.
