  • Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and how distributed systems fail.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain unit, integration, end-to-end, and regression test suites for the platform, APIs, and user interface.
  • Test data-driven and AI-powered systems by validating pipeline outputs, data quality, layer contracts, AI-generated recommendations, and write-back behavior.
  • Embed automated testing in CI/CD so changes are tested before reaching customers.
  • Design test plans for customer deployments, including internal dogfooding, Auger testing, and joint testing with customer teams before go-live.
  • Test integrations and write-backs to customer systems, focusing on correctness, idempotency, error handling, and auditability.
  • Diagnose, reproduce, and track issues to resolution using tools such as Jira or GitHub Issues, and identify root causes.
  • Partner with developers on design and code reviews to improve testability and maintainability.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to write and extend tests, and review and validate generated code before release.
  • Advocate for quality and influence how software is built, deployed, and monitored across environments.
