Summer Internship Program 2027 - Software Development Engineer in Test Intern
About The Position
The ICE Internship Program offers hands-on work on impactful projects, professional development, and opportunities to build connections and strengthen interpersonal skills. Interns participate in weekly sessions led by industry leaders and learn about the financial services, technology, and mortgage industries. The Software Development Engineer in Test Intern supports core digital asset infrastructure projects and gains exposure to blockchain technologies and test automation. The internship requires full-time, five-day-a-week attendance at the Atlanta office for the full duration of one of the two program schedules: May 24, 2027–August 6, 2027, or June 7, 2027–August 20, 2027. Candidates select a preferred session during the application process; partial participation or alternate dates are not accommodated.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university and be at least advancing to their junior year of study.
- JavaScript/TypeScript experience.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
Nice To Haves
- Understanding of blockchain and crypto markets.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop tools to migrate code from a legacy automation framework to the new tech stack.
- Build an understanding of blockchain technologies and develop automation scripts to test core workflows for adding new digital assets.
- Learn how to build test scenarios and test cases.
- Find and log defects discovered during the testing process.
- Perform additional duties and contribute to projects as assigned.
