Summer Internship Program 2027 - Software Engineering Intern
About The Position
The Software Engineer Intern will support Servicing Digital UI and API enhancements by writing code in Angular and Java, using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code. The ICE Internship Program combines hands-on project work with practical career and professional development. Interns will participate in weekly sessions led by industry leaders, connect with fellow interns, and learn more about the financial services, technology, and mortgage industries. Interns must be currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university and advancing to at least their junior year. The internship is full-time, five days a week, in person at the Jacksonville office for the entire duration of one designated program schedule. Candidates select a preferred session during application; partial participation and alternate dates are not accommodated.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university and advancing to at least the junior year of study.
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Experience with Spring Boot Java.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Availability to work full-time, five days a week, in the Jacksonville office for the full duration of one designated internship schedule.
Responsibilities
- Write code in Angular and Java to support Servicing Digital UI and API enhancements.
- Use AI-assisted development practices and tooling, such as Claude Code, as part of the development workflow.
- Perform additional duties and contribute to projects as assigned.
